Judy Gilligan lives in Boulder, Colorado, where she taught elementary school for many years.
She enjoys hiking in the mountains with her husband, meeting friends for chai, and gardening with the neighborhood cats. She has two children and four grandchildren, who bring her much joy.
Judy graduated from the University of California, Davis, and earned a master's degree in education from Stanford University. Before retiring from teaching, she won an Impact on Education Award for her work with diverse students.
